The Eredivisie Awards 2023/24 took place in Utrecht on Monday, where the best footballers in the Netherlands from the past season were honoured. Jean-Marie Pfaff honoured Belgian international Tessa Wullaert as the best player in the Netherlands.
Wullaert, who was also named last season's top scorer, played for Dutch club Fortuna Sittard until the end of last season and previously played for RSC Anderlecht, Manchester City and VfL Wolfsburg, among others. This summer, Wullaert moved to Inter Milan. In her career, the 31-year-old has won the Belgian and German championships twice, the Belgian Cup twice and the German Cup three times. She also won the cup twice in England with the Citizens. She has played 117 international matches for her home country Belgium since 2011.
